Zoe Ripple: Citizen Journalist

I aim to portray the people, organizations, and places that help to make the world a more livable, equitable place.  I am particularly interested in discussions surrounding the environment, public health, veterans' issues and education.

Experience

Zoe's professional background is primarily in education.  Initially, she worked for the Breakthrough Collaborative (formerly Summerbridge), teaching earth science and English to middle school students.  She then helped to found a college preparatatory program for Breakthrough's high school alumni.  After graduating from Brown University, she taught under the auspices of Teach For America as a seventh grade English teacher.  In her free time, she is researching gardens and working on completing a couple of short stories.
